Privacy policy
ProofExam is built so an attempt can become proof. Your name and files stay private unless you choose to share them.
What we collect
Account details (name, email), role you pick in studio, papers you create or sit, scores, integrity logs on proctored attempts, and the minimum device signals needed to run a timed session. Payment details for Pro are processed by the payment provider — we do not store full card numbers.
How we use it
To run your quizzes, mock tests, interviews, certifications, campus exams, and hiring sends; to compute ProofScore; to issue ProofExam Verified credentials; to keep rooms and allocations working; and to contact you about your account. We do not sell personal data.
Credentials and blockchain
A ProofExam Verified certificate has an ID, QR, and a public verify page. If we seal a fingerprint of the result, only that fingerprint is stored. Your name, files, and scores stay private.
Sharing
We share data with you, with people you invite to a room or challenge, with institutions or employers when you sit their paper, and with processors who host the product. Lawful requests are honoured. Campus and hiring lists stay with the organisation that imported them.
Retention
Account and credential records are kept while the account is active and as long as a verify page needs to remain checkable. You can ask us to close an account at hello@proofexam.com.
